I have been a Keynote and invited speaker at conferences and workshops around the world on a wide range of human factors topics. Highlights include conceiving, organising and chairing an international conference on Human and Organisational Factors in the Oil, Gas & Chemical Industries in 2007 for the UK Ergonomics Society (now the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors). This was a successful event and I subsequently organised similar events for the Institute in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014.

I have also lectured in human factors, ergonomics and process safety at undergraduate and Masters level at several UK universities.
